Purpose: AquaprofilerIt is a measurement system with ADCP sensors installed on brackets or sinking blocks. It is a new type of acoustic Doppler flowmeter that can measure the flow rate, water level, and cross-sectional velocity distribution of natural rivers, open channels, and pipelines. Can be used in complex and harsh hydrological environments.
Principle: Acoustic Doppler principle. The system measures the vector and amplitude of each point (up to 128 points) using a dual velocity beam to obtain the flow velocity changes in the profile. The third vertical acoustic beam is used to measure the water level, and combined with the profile flow velocity, the flow rate is accurately calculated.
